Philosophical Tales of Athanasia (ENG)
He once said…
Once upon a time, there was someone called :
“He”
No one had ever met him
No one had ever seen him
And yet every sentence in the world began with:
“He once said…”
In some villages, his words became teachings.
In some cities, his words became law
In some nations, his words became custom and tradition
In some religions, his words allowed men to kill without guilt
even though no one knew who He was,
even though no one had ever heard a single true word from his mouth,
everyone used his words in place of their own—
because his weighed heavier
One day, a child asked :
“If he never truly spoke… then what are the words we have been repeating?”
All the elders fell silent
No one answered the child’s question, born only of curiosity
Some grew angry
Some grew afraid
Some forgot even how to breathe
At last, they all turned to look at the child and thought :
‘He never said we could ask’
That night, the child vanished
No one ever spoke of him again
No one ever questioned the words of He again.
Everything returned to normal.Silent
Orderly
As it was meant to be
For He had never come out to forbid it
And thus—no one was guilty
